Giants Parade.

Today I met up Sean and Jonathan downtown to check out the Giants Parade. I didn’t get to go to the one in 2010 so I was pretty excited. I had a game plan on what I was planning to shoot, but once I got down there it became pretty obvious that I would need to change plans because of how crowded it was. I did not expect it to be that packed full of people. I was literally sandwiched shoulder to shoulder with people just trying to go up and down the block. All the people made it extremely hard to frame without getting cluttered backgrounds and I couldn’t be flexible at all. So I decided to just use the GF2 and get some digital snapshots of the people since there was no way in hell I would be able to see the parade.

Afterwards, Jonathan and I walked around the Embarcadero for a couple hours and just chilled for a bit. After my mom took me out for a late birthday dinner. Thanks for treating me dinner Mom 🙂

Here’s some snapshots of my day.

I scanned another couple rolls of film I had laying around. I think i messed up development as some shots seem kind of off with the exposure.. Quite a few shots were underexposed and I had to do a little touch up in post.. More than I usually have to. I know it wasn’t my camera since the Olympus Stylus is an impregnable piece of machinery.

Anyways, my birthday is tomorrow. Giant’s parade is Wednesday. I plan on getting in a good amount of shooting. Next week I have a couple more midterms, though. Back to reality.

So I thought I would update the blog today. Life has been hectic, but I’m still shooting! Today I went with Sean to do our usual Wednesday thing. Headed over to Jtown and had some food and took some pictures. Then we headed over to some hill and took a couple shots of the city. The Giants are dominating too so it’s been a good day.

Tomorrow and Friday I have midterms though.. Both of which I haven’t started studying for really. Hopefully I do okay….

My birthday is next Tuesday. I need Ilford HP5. I think you guys know what to do now 🙂

Here’s a couple shots and yes it’s digital for a change. *cue gasps*

So I’ve been meaning to upload this sooner, but my internet is down at home so I had to wait until I got to Starbucks to upload everything haha. Sucks man. I have a couple more midterms coming up next week that are kinda stressing me out since it’s my two weakest subjects this semester (Kanji and Linguistics). Gonna try and study, but knowing me it just won’t happen like that haha.

I’ve been pretty lazy with doing anything lately. I’m trying to be more proactive and go out and do things more often, but after work and school all I really wanna do is sleep.

Today I just went to run a few errands before work. My mom wanted to get something from Stonestown so we headed over there. While she was shopping I went and saw Rolo while he was working. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen him so it was nice being able to talk. Afterwards I just went home and chilled before work.

Yoo! Happy October! So I recently developed a couple rolls from the Leica. The shutter is sticky so about half the shots came out screwed up. Time to get a CLA soon. It’s odd because I can shoot it all day without film and it won’t act up, but once I need it to cooperate with me it just totally doesn’t.. Bummer.

I have midterms and stuff coming up. Not looking forward to it ughhhh.

I also made a new site here so check it out.. Mainly just b/w film and some digital tossed in.

New Site!!

Ilford Hp5 Plus @ EI 800. Developed in HC-110 Dilution X. A lot of shots came out blurrier than I had hoped. I guess I don’t have a steady hand haha.
